vandalism and pick pocketing

As crime such as vandalism and pick pocketing is on the rise,i urge the resident to keep a look out and be vigilant. As you can see the photos at the top,It is really concerning and hope everyone will play their part as a resident of valley street. If they catch any of this crimes in action, please do something to stop them or call the police. There are many ways to tackle the problems of pick-pocketing.Here are some of the ways.:
  • Residents should ensure that their bags are not left opened in any way and that it should be kept close to them at all times
  • Resident should keep their belongings should remain out of sight and difficult for others to access.
Please call us if you still have any problem so that we can assist in solving the problems. We have already ask some volunteers who are staying in this area to patrol around more often so as to cut down this crime.I believe if everyone do their part,Valley street will be a better and safer place to stay.

I also know that stray dogs and cats are also increasing in numbers.I know that most of the kind hearted resident will not let this animals to stave and hence feed them food.It is alright to feed one but when more and more stray cats and dogs start to appear. This could cause problems for the resident here.I also receive complaints of stray dogs and cats making noises late at night causing some resident to not have a peaceful sleep.

Resident of Valley street, please be careful of this stray cats and dogs because they could attack passer by.I strongly urge resident to stop feeding this animals. For we do not know where the stray animal come from and what illness they have.If you have any problems, please call  SPCA at 6287-5355.

Also, please try to keep Valley Street a clean and healthy place to live in.If everyone do their part to not litter,I believe it will be a suitable place for all the resident to enjoy the scenery and the facilitates.
